Lewes Phoenix Masterplan  |  Human Nature 

UM were commissioned as the Transport Strategist for this project to redevelop an 8ha former industrial site in Lewes for around 650 dwellings and a range of other commercial, health and leisure land uses, including a large Mobility Hub. We worked closely with the client and wider professional team from 2021 to 2022 to ensure that the Phoenix will enable genuinely sustainable travel patterns, also engaging with the local highway authority around the numerous innovations proposed to achieve a very low car mode share. Planning approval was granted in 2024.
