Hartree Cambridge Masterplan  |  TOWN with LandSec U+I

In July 2022, UM was appointed as the Transport Strategist for what was then called the North East Cambridge Core Site (48ha). The Hartree development will comprise around 5,600 homes and 90,000sqm of commercial space, supported by shops, three primary schools and green spaces. With the goal of achieving very high sustainable transport mode shares, we crafted a comprehensive Transport Strategy and advised on street design so as to achieve this goal while retaining the highway authority’s confidence in the necessary innovation.
