Edited by Christopher Martin, issue 133 of the Urban Design Group Journal on 'Greening the City' focuses on how we can get more 'green' into our cities, looking at a variety of scales and types of interventions. Christopher writes about how we value space within cities, and how a change in attitudes and understanding can lead to all 'space' in cities being better utilised. Ian Hingley also contributes to the issue with an article on getting more 'green' elements into our streets and spaces.
